Sustainable Enterprises: experts from Knowdys and the ACCI join forces with GIZ

GIZ, a key player in development, drew on the expertise of Knowdys and ACCI for the 2025 edition of the IYBA WE4A project. This partnership marks a strategic milestone: to successfully carry out their economic cooperation missions in Africa, GIZ, the European Union (EU), the Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OACPS), and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) rely on trusted local experts who can navigate the continent’s complex economic ecosystems with skill and insight.

A High-Level Mission Entrusted to Experienced Experts

The IYBA WE4A project is a major initiative aimed at supporting African women entrepreneurs in the green economy. To mobilize and engage multiple stakeholders effectively, GIZ tasked Knowdys, through the ACCI, with preparing, structuring, and facilitating its “Bridging Event.” More than simple moderation, this required consulting and strategic planning expertise.

Dr Guy Gweth and Sharon Ngome leveraged their knowledge in competitive and strategic intelligence to:

  • Gain a deep understanding of the IYBA WE4A project, its objectives, target participants, and partners.
  • Develop a bilingual (French-English) facilitation strategy tailored to the diverse audience.
  • Manage the event’s dynamics smoothly, ensuring seamless exchanges between women entrepreneurs, diplomats, and international organisation representatives.
  • Capitalize on the insights gathered to produce a detailed report with actionable lessons and recommendations for future initiatives.

This approach, grounded in thorough preparation, adaptability, and rigorous execution, highlights the added value of the expertise deployed.
